The Collver Family Legacy Scholarship supports graduating Climax-Scotts seniors as they pursue college, university, and trade school.

Collver Family Legacy Scholarship
Established through a generous partnership with the Collver Family Foundation, this scholarship supports graduating Climax-Scotts seniors pursuing colleges, universities, and trade schools through a combination of two-year and four-year awards.

Check that you are eligible
The Collver Family Legacy Scholarship is for graduating Climax-Scotts High School seniors and students entering their final year of the Early Middle College program.
Watch for the window to open
Applications open once a year and are announced on our News page. For the 2026 cycle, applications were due March 15, 2026.
Gather your materials
The online form asks for your academic record, two essays, two letters of recommendation, and an optional statement of financial need. The checklist alongside lists everything.
Submit the online application
Complete the form on our Apply page before the deadline. Letters and any financial statement are uploaded with the form, and you certify that the information is accurate when you submit.
Selection and notification
A selection committee reviews every application and the Board of Directors confirms the awards. Recipients are announced in the spring, and funds are paid directly to your college, university, or trade school.
Eligibility and terms
- Open to graduating Climax-Scotts High School seniors and students entering their final year of the Early Middle College program, as described in the application materials for each cycle.
- Applications are reviewed by a selection committee. Awards are made at the discretion of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, and its decisions are final.
- Awards are paid directly to the recipient’s college, university, or trade school. Multi-year awards continue only while the recipient meets the requirements stated in the award letter.
- Climax-Scotts Community Schools Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
- Recipient names, schools, and photos are published only with the recipient’s consent, and a parent or guardian’s consent for recipients under 18. Application information is handled under our Privacy Policy.
